Jolt Racing Celebrates Double GTH Victory at Brands Hatch

Jolt Racing delivered its strongest GT Cup Championship weekend of the season at Brands Hatch on 19–20 September, securing two GTH victories and a further podium with John Ingram and new teammate Aaron Cooke.

The penultimate event of the 2026 campaign brought the championship to the demanding 2.43-mile Grand Prix circuit, with the #37 McLaren Artura GT4 lining up against a highly competitive GTH field for four races across the weekend.

Cooke joined Jolt Racing for the Brands Hatch meeting and quickly settled into the team, working closely with Ingram and the engineering crew to develop the car throughout practice and qualifying.

Saturday’s opening sprint provided an immediate reward. Cooke produced a composed drive to bring the McLaren home second in GTH, securing the team’s first podium of the weekend.

In the afternoon’s 50-minute pit-stop race, Ingram and Cooke combined to go one better. Strong pace, clean execution and an effective driver change put the #37 McLaren at the head of the GTH field, earning Jolt Racing its first class victory of the weekend.

The team returned on Sunday determined to build on Saturday’s success. The opening pit-stop race proved more challenging, with the contest disrupted by incidents and a red flag around the pit window. Despite showing competitive pace, the McLaren lost ground during the interrupted race and eventually finished fifth in GTH.

There was still one final opportunity in Sunday’s sprint, and Cooke made it count. Starting from 16th overall, he charged through the field to take the chequered flag ninth overall and first in GTH, completing a superb class victory on his debut weekend with Jolt Racing.

The result gave the team two GTH wins from the four races, together with Ingram’s second-place finish in Saturday’s sprint. It marked a major step forward after the frustrations of the previous Silverstone round and demonstrated the pace and potential of the McLaren Artura GT4.

Three podium results, including two victories, made Brands Hatch Jolt Racing’s most successful meeting of the 2026 season so far. The points secured across the weekend have also elevated Jolt Racing to second place in the GTH championship standings ahead of the season finale.

With Cooke making an immediate impact alongside Ingram, the team now turns its attention to the final round determined to carry its momentum forward and finish the campaign strongly.
