Jolt Racing Confirm GT Cup Championship Return for 2026

Jolt Racing will return to the GT Cup Championship in 2026, continuing with its long-standing driver pairing of John Ingram and Rupert Williams, with the team once again running under the familiar #37 banner.

The duo first made their GT Cup debut in 2024, contesting a full season aboard the McLaren 570S. That campaign proved successful, culminating in the pair securing the GTA Championship title.

For 2026, Jolt Racing will once again mount a full championship challenge, this time stepping into the highly competitive GTH class with the McLaren Artura GT4. The team already has strong form with the car, having claimed a triple podium during a one-off appearance at the Donington Park round last season. That outing came alongside a debut British GT programme in the inaugural Endurance Cup.

Commenting on the Hampshire based squad’s return to the series, John Ingram said:

“We’re really looking forward to returning to GT Cup this season. The championship offers fantastic racing and a great atmosphere, and after the results we achieved last year, we’re excited to see what we can accomplish with a full campaign in the Artura.”

Adding to the sentiment, Rupert Williams commented:

“It’s great to be continuing alongside John and the team for another GT Cup campaign. We’ve built a strong working relationship over the years, and I’m excited to embark on a second year with the Artura GT4. Our aim is to keep pushing forward and challenge for more podium finishes.”

The 2026 GT Cup season gets underway with the opening round at Donington Park in April, featuring the first of two 100-minute endurance races this season, before concluding with the traditional season finale at Snetterton.
